The ability to transform both the body and mind is what solidified Patti’s passion for the practice of yoga. What started in 2008 as a way to squeeze in some early morning exercise at home turned into a habit that made a big difference in her life by strengthening the body, increasing mobility, and calming the mind. She soon began practicing at local studios and realized that there was so much more to learn about yoga. As a runner and someone who is not naturally flexible, she understands that props and modifications are a great resource for making yoga more accessible to students. She aims to create a welcoming and safe environment for students to experience their own practice. Patti enjoys teaching vinyasa flow classes with the goal of creating a moving mediation for her students. In 2018 she completed her 200RYT under the guidance of Kim Taurins at Four Dragons Institute.
